It was to be a 3 summer deal to IMPROVE service. That was the contract. MARC took back the cars they leased to NJT in June 2018 thinking LIRR would take them.The 2nd and 3rd summers were for more than the 8 MARC cars they got. The whole point was not to cut rush hour consists and cancel rush hour trains to Port Jeff and Oyster Bay on Friday nights. Eng is a playing a game of PR frou-frou of 3rd track and ESA bullcrap and srews regular cutsomers to run a seasnoanl service. We saw that last weeekend when they fucked the Hempstead Branch for Belmont Stakes. 3 weeks ago, the Cannonball's equipment died. They stole the 4:49pm to Port Jeff and cancelled it. |
