This stopped because they gapped too many 4-car consists lol. Mostly in Valley. If your rear pair isn't drawing properly going east up to the branch, you're done. We can debate on whether this shows a general lack of balls on the part of the railroad, but these days they don't want to tell you to roll backwards until you're on 3rd rail with passengers aboard. I would want no part of operating dual modes of any kind into Brook unless all the passenger cars had shoes too. |
