The area looks nothing like when the El stood there. I've personally been along 3rd Avenue (Bronx) and 168th/Jamaica, and even all these years later, the ghosts of those Els remain there. At 168th, not only is there the building that housed the tower, but at least as of 2007, there was still an old-style lamp above the doorway that served the footbridge between the station and the tower. |
