Garamendi warns, posted by randyo on Tue May 21 13:10:55 2019. that would entail an american entity willing to invest the overhead to either license a design or develop a new one. few US manufacturing cos (not counting those whoi repackage Asian buil items) have the money and fewerthe interest. Remember that StL essentially folded after losing MTA bids, Budd and P-S died as well for lack of orders. The US simply is not a reliable enough market to support a domestic based lrv/subway car builder not part of a vastly larger entity. |
