Posted by gbs on Sun May 19 20:05:24 2019 Just when it seemed like all possible MetroCard questions have been asked and answered.... I've been refilling my current card with 30-day periods for almost a year, and the card expires at the end of this month. Meanwhile, the current 30-day period expired today. I tried to refill it at the MVM today, expecting the machine to tell me that the card is expiring soon, and to ask if I wanted to exchange it for a new one (which I did). Instead the MVM told me that the card is expiring in 12 days and is not eligible for refill. How can I turn this card in and get a new 30-day unlimited one without paying the $1 fee? (Why wouldn't the MVM allow me to add 7 days? It never let me get that far.) |
