I worked on both but rarely rode the R-16s to speak on the relatively ride quality. There are, as I mentioned, other components to ride quality including truck/shock arrangement, propulsion packages and even draft gear. Off hand I also can't recall the axle loading relative to both car classes but have the data in my train room. |
