MTA is currently completing its new terminal under Grand Central.8 tracks to itself..no sharing with AMTRAK OR NJ TRANSIT. Though Im sure they cannot route all of their services to the new spot..Im quite sure they so understand that fully 3/3rds of Could use Grand Central comfortablely. One of the reasons the Atlantic Branch is going full crossboro shuttle is the aboves increased service requirements. |
