What will the tunnels cost/ Even at full corrtuption rates (50% BS, 50% actual results) were talking reducing the un needed F35s by maybe half a dozen or so. Of course that will infuriate both the DOD vendors who live off these sales, and their bought pols who can ALWAYS find money for their patrons.As to money being free it was the GOP majority which spent "off budget" funds on the Afghan and Iraq misadventures. And if you pay few taxes (the oligopolists) but control the spending, what's the problem? Paraphrasing Ms. Leona Helmsley about paying taxes--oh, those are only for the little people. There is plenty of m,oney, it just needs to be expropriated from the tax evading super rich. |
