When it's said that longer G trains will not be run, they could mean no additional trains (shorter headways) being run. But additional cars (8/60' foot cars) could still be in plans.The L has been shut on many nights and weekends in the past 6 months. If they didn't need more G trains for those shutdowns, why would they need them for future shutdowns? (It would be different if they needed them weekdays just for additional traffic, but I assume you're not referring to that.) |
