The R-1/9s assigned to the Eastern didn’t just have QJ taped to the roll signs they had actual QJ signs installed. The R-32s and 38s did receive RJ and NX signs because when I was a Tw/M at 59 St I saw trains of those cars displaying those signs. The wrinkle was that by the time those signs were installed on the cars that received them the NX and RJ had been eliminated. |
