I missed that one, but the difference there is that the tower at Bway/Myrtle relied on visual observation of the train whereas Tower 1 which controlled the switches at the east (RR south) end of E/Pky couldn’t see the trains and routed trains based in what the M/M punched at the route request box. Another anomaly is that the markers for the Jamaica Lcl and the Jamaica Exp were the same so when the switches at Marcy were west of the station, the Tw/M there had to rely on the train interval sheets to properly route the trains. |
