Light rail and trolleys leads to economic development.The areas around the subway terminals are already over developed. The land prices and the amount of surface traffic attest to that. Development beyond these terminals into the transit deserts is hindered by the amount of surface traffic. Expansion of the subway system into the transit deserts is what's required. |
