Oh, I agree. There will be no stopping this "progress"- CBTC or some version thereof is the way they're going- for better or worse.

I guess what I'm saying is that those of us here can see that an investment of billions in CBTC isn't really what's needed; they can make significant improvements with proper use, placement, and maintenance of the existing signal system.
