I don’t think I’ve ever heard the term “train shed” in connection with the present GCT. I think of a train shed as an above-ground structure, arching over station tracks—as, for example, at St. Louis, Indianapolis, or Chicago’s long-gone Grand Central. Is the cavernous two-level track area of GCT really called a train shed?
