The Jersey tan plates that started coming out in 1992 are crap. I had mine replaced around 2011 since the tan paint, which was reflective, was peeling off. I regard the reflectorization as a safety measure. I had my plates duplicated for just $11 and they came in the mail in 10 days.The last few years, they are no longer of embossed characters. I think the blue ones that preceded them are better. A few are still around and in quite good shape. Did they priosoners make those ? |
