You overestimated the number of trains per day by a factor of 4And of course in busier periods it's far more than 68 people. (2.7 million people) x (2 minutes each) = 90,000 person-hours per year. Maybe it would be so expensive to put in crew quarters that it's not worth it for that amount of time savings. But nobody here has made that argument. |
