The report I just saw on NY1 made it sound as though they (Cuomo/MTA) expect the project to start in April. They plan to renegotiate the current $400 million contract and expect to save money as the work will be less extensive and less costly. Having not seen the existing contracts, I don't know if there is a provision to allow the renegotiation for a change of work/scope. |
