I recall as a young kid, taking a trip on the the 8th Avenue line heading uptown and seeing for the first time (we always rode the QB lines and would switch either at Roosevelt for the 7 or Queens Plaza for the EE to 59th St. and get on the Lex line) ot what I have since become to know as the R-10 in what I called at the time the World Fair colors. I remember being fascinated by the trains which were cool and the stations with the express/local and downtown/uptown set up. |
