When it was applied to the R-10s, I was hoping the entire NYCTA painted fleet would be painted like that but it never happened. The only question I had about that scheme as applied to the R-10s is why they painted the stripes in the ends of the cars instead of just painting them the solid turquoise like the R-33s and the #1 ends of the R-36s. |
