and if one is more serious, there are third party hardware devices for the purposes. Over the years, I have had the displeasure of working with multiple brands of 'Cat3,5,6' voice and data cable which supposedly have standardized colors for the individual wires. In some light the greens and blues are nearly indistinguishable.
And we are not even talking about those of us with eye color reception defects.
