I have a question regarding the 1989 New York Division Bulletin article about the 1935 "motorization" of the Eighth Avenue streetcar line. I know June 1, 1956 was the effective date the route was run by Fifth Avenue Coach Lines Inc., but on what day in November 1951 was New York City Omnibus Corporation listed as taking over operation from Eighth Avenue Coach?
