What I recall, on the n/b CPW express back in the day, there were some timers starting around 86th street. Many train ops took it slow down that 103rd street incline until they could at least see the signals up the track at about 110th. Today even an R68 makes that a joy to ride. There was no stupid timer 'tween 116th & 125th.jrc |
