Posted by AlM on Mon Nov 5 09:55:39 2018 A few weeks ago, someone complained that NYCT did not consider ComicCon (I think) when shutting down the west end of the 7 for the weekend. Some responders suggested that NYCT can't be bothered considering such a relatively minor event.Apropos of this, NYCT did not shut down the L this weekend as they had the prior several weekends. I assume this was due to the marathon, even though there were many other ways to take the subway to see the marathon other than the L. But maybe I'm wrong - maybe there was another reason. |
