NO! NO! NO!Commission the Fleet of 75 ft commuter cars similar to WAMTA's latest version 7000 cars.   Connect LIRR to DeKalb Tunnel only inbound. One stop only, Chambers, then on to the Manhattan bridge outbound only. Back to Atlantic Ave Terminal then Jamaica and Long Beach or Far Rockaway, or West Hempstead and all stations in between. Layups on unused portion between Chambers and Bowery. |
