I used to live in Ridgewood and go to school at New York City technical for 2 years in late 80s on J Street. The Myrtle el would have been a lifesaver.I tried many different ways to get there. -the M to Delancey Essex to the F to Jay Street Borough Hall. -the M to Lawrence Street. Back then the M ran all day. -the M to Myrtle Broadway to the b54 bus -the M to Myrtle Broadway to the J to Broadway Junction to the A to Jay Street Borough Hall. I finally settled on the m to the f combination. It was the lesser of all the evils. It was actually faster than the M direct to the Montague tunnel which was a horror. And the b54 bus was a nightmare. |
