It is disappointing for me as an IND buff, because those small squared "72" tiles near the ceiling on the uptown platform were removed, but a good many of them were retained on the downtown platform though. Plus, at least the station kept those ">-72->" directional tiles, underneath the large mosaic tablets, keeping in the spirit of the IND itself.Oh, well...I preferred 163rd Street-Amsterdam Avenue better though.
