The dogs at the "portable" Nathan's stands you see around the City aren't the same. I could tell the difference when I stopped at one one the Thruway last week which was much better (and the fries again are great).I remember an article several years back when some kids from the midwest were visiting the City as part of a program. They went to Coney Island and stopped at Nathans one day. The kids convinced them to take them back to Coney Island so they could go to Nathans again before they left. The kids wanted those dogs and fries one last time. |
