There was a Master's on Main Street, which at some point in the early 70's became "Baxter's"- they literally just changed out 2 letters in the sign. Baxter's didn't last long, and the building (actually a former theater) stood abandoned for a LONG time.There was also a Master's on Hylan Blvd (Staten Island), near Tysen's Lane. That lasted into the 1990s. It's a stuffy Stop & Shop now. |
