We had lunch there on April 30, 1967 after visiting the Empire State Building. We were trying to decide where to go next and I said it didn't matter as long as we took the subway. My father suggested going to Coney Island, saying it was an hour-long ride. That sealed the deal right then and there, and a short time later we were on a D train via the Culver line to Stillwell Ave. |
