During one of the Manhattan Bridge closures when you had the B and R going to Astoria, slants did run on the R.Trains that would lay up from both lines the night before had to be swapped as put ins the next morning because they would have to come out in a scheduled order. Same thing is done today with the N/W which are now laid up at Astoria middle. |
