Nope.
The A was the R10..And the R10S were the A LINE.
BETWEEN 1948 AND THE LATE 70S,the 10s were a constant on the A Line.
The R40/44 cars actually replaced them.
The 38s that were on the B swapped out the 40s..which also displaced the 44s which disappeared for awhile completely.
