Why wasn't Friday's Atlantic Ave 11:10pm half-hour "stop" due to homeless person posted on MTA? |

Posted by BrooklynTrain on Mon Sep 24 22:06:31 2018 Friday 11:10pm to 11:40pm, downtown F at Atlantic, first car, homeless guy lying across the seats and passed out, blood coming out of a bandage on his forehead. Conductor goes on radio then walks to front car to investigate. Meanwhile several F, N and R's were immediately behind it due to prior delay in service. But since express track was occupied by work train at Atlantic, nothing could get thru. Also backed up Q trains since nothing could enter/leave DeKalb either. Why wasn't this posted on the MTA web site and MTA twitter feed as a delay? MTA should be more specific about the reason for the delay: They should let customers know it's because of a passed-out homeless individual. That's what I told customers who were waiting and waiting and waiting. They deserve to know the truth. November 6th is approaching. |
