But the World's Fair was on the south side of Roosevelt, whereas Shea was and Citi Field is on the north side. There is, as I'm sure we all know, a big ramp that runs southbound, and is fully connected to the mezzanine, providing access to all 3 platforms.

So I'd think any structures that specifically direct passengers to the north side would have been built with Shea in mind. I remember the ramp, or, perhaps, pedestrian bridge that was there in the old days (pre-2009). I haven't had a good look to see if it still exists or was replaced when the new stadium opened.

Personally, not being much of a sports fan, I can say that I miss all those 1964 lampposts that were in Shea's parking lot right to the end.
