Some people live in areas where you MUST ride the train to get to a decent supermarket for grocery shopping for instance. There are a number of "food deserts" throughout and unless you're willing to pay say a $15-20 fee in some cases for delivery you only have that option in some cases.As for baby carriages, some people have to take them on because they can't drive or are going to an area where driving is a massive headache at best. The bikes, on the other hand, there is no excuse. There is no need to have THOSE on the subway in rush hour. |
