Posted by andy on Tue Jul 10 11:42:41 2018 July 10, 1905: IRT subway opens its tunnel between the Lenox Line (Manhattan) and the elevated line along Westchester Ave. (Bronx) that opened in Nov. 1904. Two new stations below 149th St. in The Bronx, at Grand Concourse and Third Avenue, are opened this date as well. |
