I don't know if they've made any signal adjustments, but a couple of years ago when I regularly rode the G into and out of Court Sq, the trains switching tracks through the center track did so painfully and unnecessarily slowly because of the lunar white signals. #7 trains entering and leaving Main St make similar moves but at a much faster speed. If the #7 trains had to move as slowly as the G's do in and out of Court Sq, Main St would be unacceptably congested and the line of trains waiting to enter would extend back beyond Willets Point. |
