Like most rapid transit married pairs the two cars share the air compressor, motor generator / inverter for hotel power, radio and a few other less critical components that preventing single car operation.

Nice pictures.

My only beef is when you post these pictures series you expect the viewer to be using a display set to a higher resolution. I have to scroll to the right to read the text without changing the text size in the web browser. Probably not very user friendly on some mobile devices as well.
