He'd be better off insisting on fewer regulations so that private-sector higher-speed rail can make a comeback from when the government squashed it in the 50s and 60s when the private sector was trying to make a go of it. He's supporting his own demise and the eventual further dismantlement of more railroads, never mind fewer places for his locomotives to run. |
