Actually, in the late 1950s, quite a few R-10s showed up on the AA/BB lcl service and don’t forget their time on the BMT Eastern where they carried the 14. 15, and 16 route numbers. In fact, considering how the NYCTA wanted to tout its soon to be established through service to Coney Island via the Culver, the agency could very well have assigned the R-10s to the D instead of the A as a showcase line. |
