The main modification, between 12:30 AM-2 AM was to connect the southbound (to Polo Grounds) track with the northbound one on the east platform for the shuttle. That way, both tracks could be used. The Board of Transportation had no idea of what shuttle ridership would be, at that time, so they ran 3-car Composite shuttles until the following year, when 2-car shuttles began service from 167th St. |
