Did the tracks off the Put Bridge have to be modified since the northbound platform was used by services to/from the Bronx anyhow? If I recall what I read about the 9 Av el, both lcl and exp trains t/from the Bx used the easternmost platform while local trains terminating at 155 St turned back from the westernmost platform.
