There never used to be that problem before the MTA became so circumspect about insisting all trains going into a relay track be fumigated. It wasn’t such a big deal if the occasional passenger failed to get off at Ctl and ended up back on the S/B platform. Also in former days the MTA had more platform C/Rs the make sure that all passengers were off but now its left to the train crew which takes longer.All it took was a few lawsuits from somebody getting hurt on a relay by trying to walk between cars or getting assaulted by some crazy homeless person still on the train.. Lawsuits are the name of the game now you get hurt on TA property? Its Ok just sue... |
