Offer the empty platform to a private concern to build a fancy restaurant there. Some glass windows at the platform edge and you could do something nice with it, and earn rent besides.Some years back there were plans to do that with the abandoned 18th Street station on the Lexington Avenue line. Nothing ever became of the plans. |
