"I only pay $1. a slice for pizza in NYC.Does that mean the fare will drop to $1. :) " Actually, under The heypaul Fare Fair Program, all pizzerias will issue a white Metrocard transfer good for travel on buses or subways. If you pay less than $2.75 for your slice, your transfer will be good for a ride on a local bus or local subway train. If the slice is more than $2.75, the transfer is good on a local bus or express subway train. The two cards will be distinguished by a tomato sauce stain on the $2.75+ card. |
