And when they finally built the northbound transfer to the 6, they re-opened the other IND mezzanine that existed unused on the other side of Lafayette St. The two staircases to the street were existing staircases that were retiled. I saw the complex from above and below and it was a standard IND mezzanine, with incandescent lights, before they started the work. |
