IIRC - there was some legal action a some years ago with the SF Muni winning out (probably because with a 3,000 mile difference between cities there could be no mistaking the identity of the system where the bullet was being used).Not knowing if Nixon did not get a license agreement with the MTA to use the symbol (and I am assuming she didn't because I did not see the required legal MTA wording on the T-shirt or on her webpage) - I could just see the newspapers having a field day with this. "Nixon wants to be Gov to fix MTA but can't even follow MTA licensing rules" |
