Sixty years ago when the Cold War was rather warm somebody wrote a program to translate between English and Russian. For the public roll-out they gave it a Biblical sentence: "The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak." Translated into Russian and back into English: "The wine is good but the meat has spoiled." |
