Fabulous find Bill, thanks.The PRR car on the "Ma & Pa" is an mP54 steam coach. It has no washroom in the near corner while P70's had them in both diagonal corners. It is not an mPB54 combine either as their lavatory would be in this corner. Diagrams at Robert Schoenberg's site . Based on the people and the borrowed car I wonder if this is a railfan excursion. Hi Avid, the trailing car (markers) on the Vineland Local is a PRSL MP-2 wooden MU which was built with steel ends. Here's a photo roster at SJ Rails . The trolley pole was for street running in Gloucester City where third rail wasn't allowed (how would it work anyway). Bill |
