The five section articulated train known as the "Green Hornet” was delivered today to the 38 Street Docks in Brooklyn. It was built by the Pullman-Standard Car Manufacturing Company. After testing it will enter revenue service on the #13 Fulton Street Line. The cars are numbered 7000A-8000B-9000C-8001B-7001A. (They will be re-numbered 7003 A,B,C,B1,A1 in 1937).

The last of 620 M-1 “Metropolitan” electric MU cars went into service
today on the Long Island Railroad.

Also on this date the last of the MP-54 electrics were retired.
