According to the Link below (sorry I don't know how hyperlink on this site), on MNR, the last two cars are quiet cars on all weekday inbound trains, and the first two cars are the quiet cars on all weekday outbound trains.

On the LIRR the Quiet cars are the first car during the morning peak period and the last car during the evening peak period.
